Booking Systems

Bespoke booking and reservation systems for businesses where a missed slot costs real money. Built from scratch on our own platform — not bolted onto your site as a third-party widget.

What you get

  • Built around your business, not someone else's template. Tour seats, restaurant tables, treatment chairs, class slots — whatever your unit of booking actually is, we model it in code.
  • Calendar logic that matches reality. Lead times, blackout dates, capacity caps, double-booking protection — all the messy rules your team currently keeps in their head.
  • Payment built in. Stripe or another gateway, deposits or full payment, refunds, the lot.
  • Email and SMS confirmations. Automatic. Sent in your business voice, not a generic “your appointment is confirmed”.
  • A back-office that doesn't fight your team. Bookings, customers, edits, refunds — all in one place, one screen, no training week.
  • Mobile-first by default. Most bookings happen on a phone.
  • Ongoing support from the people who built it. Same two people. Same phone number.

Why we don't bolt on a third-party booking widget

Most Australian web shops will recommend a third-party booking widget — an iframe from a SaaS provider, a plugin from a marketplace, a Calendly link in a button. It's quick to install. Then a few months in, you notice you can't change the wording, can't model your real availability, can't refund the way you want, and the monthly subscription has doubled.

We build the booking system as part of your site. You own the code, you own the database, and the rules match your business — not the rules the widget maker thought you should have.

How a project actually goes

  1. Discovery call. 60 minutes with both of us. We map your booking flow on paper before we touch any code — what gets booked, what the constraints are, what happens when things go wrong.
  2. Fixed quote. Within 5 business days for booking projects (more variables than a brochure site). The price you see is the price you pay.
  3. Design. We mock up the booking flow and the back-office screens. You react, we revise.
  4. Build. Lukas writes the code on our staging server. You can preview anytime. Typical bespoke booking project: 6–10 weeks.
  5. Test bookings. We run real test bookings end-to-end with you and your team before launch.
  6. Launch and training. Erin walks your team through the back-office. We monitor closely for the first week.
  7. Support. Included for the first year. Same two people, same phone number.

What it costs

Booking projects vary more than brochure sites — the final number depends on the rules your business actually runs on. We quote the whole job up front. Post-launch changes: $120/hr.

What you don't get from us

  • Third-party booking widgets that lock your data inside someone else's database.
  • Subscription fees that grow as your business grows.
  • “Free quote” calls that turn into 90-minute pitch meetings.
  • Generic SaaS booking forms that don't match your real availability rules.
  • A booking flow designed for the widget maker's other clients, not for yours.
  • An iframe that looks like it came from a different website.

What this looks like for your business

Tour operators (boats, trains, walking tours), restaurants and small venues, treatment-based health (clinics, physios, beauty), classes and courses — anywhere a booking is more than “pick a free time slot”.
