Why we don't build template stores with twenty apps

Most Australian web shops will sell you a $90 theme, fourteen Shopify apps, a $200/month subscription stack, and a maintenance retainer. Then disappear when one of those apps changes its pricing model and breaks your checkout.

We don't build that way.

We start with what your business actually does, work out the smallest amount of code that does that job, and put nothing else in the way. Sometimes that's plain Shopify. Sometimes it's Shopify with one or two well-chosen integrations. Sometimes it's our own platform from scratch. The choice is led by your business, not by the apps we've already installed for someone else.

How a project actually goes

1. Free site audit. Send us your URL or describe your store. We'll audit what's there and send back what we'd build for you and what it'll cost.
2. Fixed quote. Within 3 business days. The price you see is the price you pay.
3. Discovery call. 30 minutes with both of us. We go through your products, your suppliers, your fulfilment, and the checkout flow. No pitch deck.
4. Design. We mock up the homepage, a product page, and the cart. You react, we revise. Up to two design rounds included.
5. Build. Lukas writes the code on our staging server. You can preview anytime. Typical Shopify build: 2–4 weeks. Custom platform: 4–8 weeks.
6. Content and launch. Erin walks you through the admin in 30 minutes. You're ready to publish products and ship orders.
7. Support. Included for the first year. Same two people, same phone number, no ticketing system.

We quote the whole job up front. The price you see is the price you pay. Post-launch changes: $120/hr.
